Privacy Policy
Last updated: 29 July 2026 · App: Order11 (com.order11.app)
Order11 is a marketplace that connects you with shops in your own neighbourhood. To do that we need to know who you are, where to deliver, and what you ordered — and not much else. This policy says exactly what we hold, who else sees it, and how to make it go away.
We do not sell your data, we show no ads, and we use no advertising identifiers. Nothing you do in Order11 is shared with advertisers or data brokers.
What we collect
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Phone number | Signing you in, by one-time SMS code, and identifying your account. It is also how a shop or our delivery staff reach you about an order in progress. |
| Name | So the shop and the person at your door know whose order it is. |
| Delivery addresses | The address as you type it, plus the map point you place, plus the nearby-place label we look up once when you save it. Used to find shops near you, to check we deliver to your colony, and to deliver. |
| Your orders | The items, quantities, prices, which shops served you, the status history, and the bill for each. Kept as your order history and as the shop's record of the sale. |
| Account and device identifiers | An account ID created when you first sign in, and a notification token for each device you install the app on, so we can tell you when your order is accepted or on its way. We also record the app version and platform, to know which build a problem came from. These are not advertising identifiers. |
| Language preference | To show the app in English or Hindi as you chose. |
We do not collect your contacts, your photos, your microphone, your browsing, or anything about you when the app is closed.
Device permissions
- Location (precise or approximate) — read only while you are setting a delivery address, to centre the map on where you are, and to check the address falls inside an area we deliver to. Never in the background, and never when the app is not open in front of you. You can skip it and type the address instead.
- Notifications — to tell you when a shop accepts your order and when it is on the way. Nothing promotional is sent to it during the pilot.
Both are optional, both are asked for at the moment they are needed, and both can be revoked at any time from Settings → Apps → Order11 → Permissions.
Who else sees it
- The shops that fulfil your order. A shop is shown your name, delivery address and phone number, and the part of your order it was asked to supply. It is not shown anything else about you, and it is not shown the parts of your order that went to other shops.
- Our sales executives. If no shop accepts your order, a member of our staff picks it up to place it by phone, and sees the same details a shop would.
- Google Firebase, which runs our sign-in, database, notifications and server code. Google processes this data on our behalf and under our instructions.
That is the whole list. We share your data with nobody else.
Where it is stored
In Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Firebase Authentication), in Google's Mumbai region (asia-south1) — your data stays in India. It travels over encrypted connections, and access is restricted by server-side security rules: another customer cannot read your orders, and a shop can only read the orders assigned to it.
Keeping and deleting your data
Your account and its data are kept while the account exists. You can delete your account yourself, from Profile → Delete account in the app, or by writing to us — see the Delete your account page.
What deletion does, precisely:
- Deleted outright — your profile, your name, your phone number, your saved addresses and their map points, and your notification tokens. Your sign-in stops working immediately and the phone number no longer belongs to any account.
- Kept, with you removed from it — the bills for orders that were already delivered. Each is a sale made by a shop, and a shop has to keep its own sales records under Indian tax law; the numbering of those records also has to stay unbroken. So the bill survives, and your name and street address are erased from it. What is left is the town and PIN code, the items and the amount. The same erasure is applied to the order itself.
We do not keep a copy of the deleted profile, and there is no waiting period — the deletion happens when you confirm it.
Website analytics
This website currently runs no analytics and sets no cookies. If that changes we will say so here, and it will apply to the website only, never to the app.
Children
Order11 is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. An account requires a phone number that can receive an SMS.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date at the top, and anything that changes what we collect or who sees it will be announced in the app.
